SETO members adhere to an established Code of Conduct and a formal Code of Ethics to consider in their dealings with schools, universities and the general public.

Advocacy

SETO acts as a representative body for its members and will be in regular contact, lobbying both State and Federal Governments on issues directly related to the well-being of student educational travel.

Education

SETO provides members and key stakeholders with educational opportunities directly related to the student educational travel sector.

Education includes but is not limited to providing members with opportunities to understand and consider more efficient corporate structures for their business – all of which differ greatly across our membership group.

External education provides interested 3rd parties with a greater knowledge and understanding of this bespoke sector of the travel industry.

SETO acknowledges traditional owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their ongoing connection to land, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and future and support the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices.
