Education - A Key SETO Pillar

SETO aspires to identify educational business-related opportunities to support member needs across multiple areas including, but not limited to compliance, legal, marketing and crisis management.

Members are offered support across many areas of their organisation to deliver consistency in business practice across the sector. SETO aspires to facilitate discussion groups relating to relevant industry matters, specific sectors, and destinations and providing networking opportunties for members to engage with like-minded oganisations.

SETO is developing a toolkit for use by members and teachers alike in the industry.

We look to provide members with information around:

Research (for example teacher surveys and trends on the educational travel sector)

Guidance Papers (on areas such as safety management and incident management)

White Papers (Government policy documents related to educational travel)

Building trust, confidence and community in education outside the classroom

SETO acknowledges traditional owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their ongoing connection to land, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and future and support the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices.
