TYPES OF Student TRAVEL |
Types of Education Outside the Classroom
SETO certified tour operator members plan and co-ordinate student educational group travel programs within the domestic, outbound and inbound market sectors. Whilst the 2 main sectors are domestic and outbound, SETO will be also focusing on promoting the benefits of student educational group travel programs to Australia and developing strong relations with international organisations such as the Student and Youth Travel Association (STYA), World Youth Student & Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation and the School Travel Forum (UK) to raise the profile of Australia as a safe and exciting destination for student group travel.
SETO aims to support social
programs that provide opportunities for underprivileged and indigenous students
to participate in travel programs.
Study Based ToursFrom Canberra excursions focusing on civics and citizenship to multi city history and classics tours in Europe to STEM tours in the USA and Singapore to Geology and Geography trips on the North and South Islands of New Zealand, and many more, our members help to facilitate meaningful study based experiences across a raft of subject based disciplines. | Sports ToursSports playing tours and professional sports coaching tours across the globe help to build confidence and inspire students in their chosen sport whilst building teamwork and enhancing skills development. | Ski TripsSki Trips are very popular in many schools and are often a highlight of many students' school careers. |
